Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply cost too much unless you are in business to get your money back Putting it simply, I purchased this machine just because your chainsaws have given me no problems over the years and I knew nothing about other manufacturers sharpeners. The only real problem I have had with the operation of it is that it did not come with what I consider a must and that is a mounted light. Why a company would sell such a nice product and not include a necessity for its operation is beyond me. This unit should include a light without added expense. I am not the only one who feels this way. December 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good grinder This is an excellent grinder that's very easy to use and very dependable. Only two things that could use some work one it needs a light and two the roll pin that holds the clamp is garbage, mine came out after sharpening one chain. I replaced it with a bolt and lock nut. Rated 5 out of 5 by If you sharpen a lot of chains, this is the ultimate! I own the USG and HOS version of STIHL Chain Sharpeners. When you set this sharpener up properly, it is virtually effortless to sharpen your chains quickly! I have one sharpener set up for smaller chains and the other for larger. I won't deny that they are expensive, but if you have a large amount of chains to sharpen, you do save money in the long run. The only downside to owning one, once people know you have one, they become your best customers! These are VERY high quality grinders and very easy to use. November 20, 2012
